Professor Charles Willemen
Professor Charles Willemen of Belgium specialises in Sarvāstivāda Abhidharma and Literary Chinese. He obtained his PhD in 1971 with a study of the Chinese Udanavarga. Subsequently, he studied in Japan under H. Nakamura ( University of Tokyo, 1972). In 1974 he was Fullbright-Hays Visiting Scholar (Harvard University, Dept. of East Asian Languages and Civilisations). He has taught at many universities in Europe and in Asia (e.g., Guest Professor: Beijing Language and Culture University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Banaras Hindu University, Nava Naland Mahavihara, Vishvabharati University in Shantineketan). He has published extensively about Buddhism in South and East Asia and about Chinese art. Dr. Willimen is a member of the Belgian Royal Academy of Sciences (since 1997). He has presented his research papers in China, US, Canada, Western Europe, India and Japan. He is currently the Rector and teaching professor of International Buddhist College, Thailand.
Professor Lalji
Professor Lalji specialises in Abhidharma Studies. He obtained a Master of Philosophy and a Doctor of Philosophy both in Banaras Hindu University, India. He is a lecturer and Head of Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India. He has translated, edited and published many academic books and articles.

Kamal Sheel
Professor Kamal Sheel of Chinese Studies at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India is the founder coordinator of the Inter-Cultural Studies Centre and the Malaviya Centre for Ethics & Human Values. He has earlier served as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts from 2009 to 2012. He did his B.A. Honours in History from the Banaras Hindu University and had graduate training in Chinese language and history at Fu-Jen Catholic University and the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. in the field of Modern Chinese History at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA. He has been Visiting Fellow at Wisconsin- Madison, Yale, Copenhagen, Beijing, Singapore, Taiwan etc universities. His current research interest primarily lies in the area of social and intellectual history of China and cultural interaction and encounters in Asia with focus on India and China.

Dr. Fa Qing
Dr. Fa Qing of China received his PhD from the University of Calgary, Canada in 2001. He worked as an assistant and lecturer at the University of Calgary and at the Than Hsiang Buddhist Research Center. In 2003 he was assigned to Hadyai to assist in the establishment of the International Buddhist College. Being a senior lecturer he is also the Head of Library and Information Technology and is responsible for the E-learning Project of the college.
